Q: Why did you want to start this kind of business?
A: We started this business because keeping kids active is essential for their health, confidence and overall well-being. Ninja training — an exciting blend of obstacle course challenges — appeals to kids of all backgrounds and abilities. Let’s be honest, when we watch “American Ninja Warrior,” a part of us all dreams of conquering those obstacles ourselves. Whether a kid already plays a traditional sport(s) or is still searching for an activity they love, our training is designed to be fun, engaging and accessible for all skill levels. Along the way, kids build strength and a mindset that embraces challenges.
Q: How did you get your start?
A: Having a love of sports, I’ve always wanted to be involved in running a sports facility or training center. When we discovered USA Ninja Challenge, it felt like the perfect fit, not just as a business, but as a way to help kids stay active. We loved the idea of creating a gym community where kids can develop strength, agility and perseverance while having a great time and meeting new friends.
Q: What does your business sell or provide?
A: We offer weekly ninja training classes for kids ages 2.5 to 17. Each week, our ninjas take on new obstacle courses, building strength, agility and confidence as they progress. Our structured program challenges kids to develop their skills across seven key categories, working their way up through Ninja Levels 1 to 6. In addition to classes, we host action-packed day and weeklong camps, as well as birthday parties and special events — perfect for scouts, church groups, sports teams and school outings.
Q: What is the biggest challenge you are facing right now?
A: As a new business, our top priority is spreading the word about what we offer. We truly believe in our program, and time and time again, families who try a class fall in love with it. The biggest challenge is reaching more people and giving them the chance to experience it firsthand. That’s why we offer a free trial class for families to come in and experience it for themselves.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do or place in Cumberland County?
A: Cumberland County is a great place to raise a family. We’ve lived in Mechanicsburg since 2008. The location is perfect. We’re close to so many great towns and destinations, and there’s always something to do, from great restaurants to fun activities for kids and families. It’s a wonderful community to be a part of.
