Q: Why did you want to start this kind of business?
A: We wanted to create a truly independent, local real estate brokerage — one that moves away from the “big box” feel and focuses on what really matters: our community. As agents, we saw what was missing and built a firm that prioritizes both our clients and the agents who join us. Keeping business local means reinvesting in the area where we live, work and raise our families.
Q: How did you get your start?
A: Many of us have been in the real estate industry for years, but launching our real estate brokerage happened when a group of individuals happened to be in the right place at the right time. Taking a leap of faith, betting on the fact and knowing that doing the right thing, with the right people would be a great start to an amazing partnership, that is what made all the difference. It has really come full circle, all because we believed and continue to believe in one another.
Q: What does your business sell or provide?
A: Turn Key Realty Group sells residential real estate and helps buyers secure home ownership.
Q: What is the biggest challenge you are facing right now?
A: The biggest challenge we’re facing right now is the emotional toll this market is taking on both our agents and our clients. Our agents are working harder than ever to guide (especially) buyers through an increasingly uncertain process, but it’s tough seeing clients face more hurdles and disappointments. We’re staying focused on what we do best — supporting our clients and agents, finding solutions and helping them forward, even when the path isn’t easy.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do or place in Cumberland County?
A: I think it’s the unique blend of small-town charm, beauty and location. It’s a great place for everyone; with top-notch schools and plenty of outdoor activities. It’s just a short drive to Carlisle, Harrisburg and other nearby areas; the area in general offers the perfect mix of peaceful living while providing access to all the city amenities.
