A: I wanted to start Mod Lark because I have a passion for creativity and helping businesses succeed. I saw a need for a comprehensive design and marketing service that could offer personalized, innovative solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. My goal was to create a company that could be a one-stop shop for all design and marketing needs, allowing businesses to streamline their efforts and focus on growth.

A: I began my journey in 2007 with a graphic design business that specialized in designing event stationery. Initially, my focus was on creating beautiful, bespoke designs for weddings and other personal celebrations. As my business grew and garnered success, I started collaborating with businesses on corporate events, which expanded my expertise and client base.

Throughout this process, I became increasingly fascinated by the marketing aspects of my work. I noticed that many small and medium-sized businesses struggled to find comprehensive services that combined high-quality design with effective marketing strategies. Recognizing this gap, I saw an opportunity to provide a more holistic solution for these businesses.

This realization inspired me to evolve my business into Mod Lark Design & Marketing. By broadening our range of services to include web design, branding, digital marketing and social media management, we are now able to offer a one-stop shop for all design and marketing needs. This evolution has allowed us to better serve our clients and help them achieve their marketing goals more effectively.

A: The biggest challenge we are currently facing is staying ahead of the rapid changes in digital marketing trends and technologies. It’s crucial for us to continuously learn and adapt to provide the best possible service to our clients. Balancing growth while maintaining the high quality of our work is also a key focus.

A: My favorite thing about Cumberland County is its natural beauty and great shopping options. The county has lovely parks, scenic trails and peaceful landscapes that are perfect for outdoor activities and relaxation. Plus, there’s a variety of cool shops to explore — from cute, local boutiques to lively shopping centers. Whether I’m out hiking, enjoying the scenery or checking out new stores, Cumberland County offers a fun and laid-back vibe that’s perfect for both work and play.
