Q: Why did you want to start this kind of business?

A: I previously was the fitness director at the Center for Independent Living of Central Pa. During my tenure I was responsible for creating, implementing and providing accessible fitness services to the disability population and aging community in Perry, Mifflin, Juanita, Cumberland and Dauphin County. The fitness center couldn’t provide all the necessary services to the individuals that needed them due limitations in hours, funding and resources as a nonprofit.

Due to this I entered into a niche market of mobile or in-home fitness that initially provided fitness to an underserved population that included individuals with disabilities and seniors that struggle to maintain quality independence in their home.

I expanded into the wider community with Silver Sneakers classes in Harrisburg/Camp Hill, executive fitness, fitness programming and American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Instruction for the workplace.

Q: How did you get your start?

A: Center for Independent Living of Central Pa (2007-2017) thanks in large part to my executive director, Theo Braddy, and ultimately being at the right place, at the right time, doing the right things.

Q: What does your business sell or provide?

A: My business doesn’t sell anything, as I am the product that provides uplifting and life-changing fitness that improves independence and overall quality of life.

My suite of services include American Red Cross Instruction to businesses/community, executive fitness, disability fitness, senior fitness, program design, Silver Sneakers community classes and motivational speaking.

Q: What is the biggest challenge you are facing right now?

A: Providing the in-home service to all the inquiries that I receive.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do or place in Cumberland County?

A: My wife and I enjoy walking our two Cavalier King Charles dogs (Lincoln and Bentley) in scenic Camp Hill Borough.
