Q: Why did you want to start this kind of business?
A: I have a passion for helping people. I want to connect with business owners to help them understand their numbers and use them to make smart, confident decisions.
Q: How did you get your start?
A: I joined a national bookkeeping mentorship group that assisted me in starting my business, which I will have lifetime access to for any resources I may need at any point in the future.
Q: What does your business sell or provide?
A: I empower small business owners by providing accurate, data-driven financial insights that help increase profits and reclaim valuable time. Whether you need a full QuickBooks overhaul or consistent monthly support, I’ll help you understand your numbers and use them to make smart, confident decisions.
Q: What is the biggest challenge you are facing right now?
A: Connecting with business owners that want help. There are many business owners that are out there that either have been and continue to “wing” their books, or maybe don’t fully understand the benefits of hiring a full-time bookkeeper. Aside from saving time and being able to focus on growing their business, there are additional benefits to hiring a full-time bookkeeper. Businesses with organized financials reduce audit risk and are 85% less likely to trigger IRS scrutiny. Additionally, 82% of business failures are due to poor cash flow management. A full-time bookkeeper monitors receivables, payables and bank balances daily or weekly, identifying red flags early and helping you maintain liquidity. The list of benefits goes on and on. If you want sustainable growth, hire a full-time bookkeeper.
Q: What is your favorite thing to do or place in Cumberland County?
A: I enjoy being involved in my church and community in Cumberland County. I also enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids taking care of our chickens and turkeys, and camping at local campsites.
